Nobel

Aksel Hennie (The Martian, 2015) is the leading actor in NRK's new major drama series "Nobel", where he plays a soldier in the special forces. The series is a modern war drama from the creators of "The Heavy Water War (Kampen om Tungtvannet)" and "The Half Brother (Halvbroren)".

Nobel gives a insight into norwegian soldiers' reality serving in Afghanistan. Two worlds collide, as the war is brought back home, challenging the image of Norway as a safe and peace loving nation. The series encourages you to reflect on how our government shape foreign policy, and how we relate to foreign aid. Is it possible that the actions of the Nobel Peace Prize Committee effects international politics, as well as the indivdual soldier?

Provinsen has made this intro in close collaboration with the filmmaker Harald Fossen.

on the verge of parody ... we admit that the "Nobel"-vignette ... gave us goosebumps.""
