Fru Blom

The little aspen furniture factory "Mrs. Blom" creates genuine, handmade and rustic furniture, with a modern twist.

The very first furniture ideas came to life in an old red barn in 2009. The rustic, naturally-baked osp-planks from the surrounding forests became two tables, sold to a café in Oslo. Immediately the orders stared rolling in, and the little furniture adventure was under way.

Today, "Mrs. Blom" is a full-fledged production site and shop, with a well-equipped carpentry workshop, specialist furniture carpenters and a growing design collection - including both interior and exterior furniture.

The aim of the branding was to underline good old-fashioned craftsmanship and customization, with a playful reference to their Signature material aspen.
